In 1996 Donny Weingartner, while living in La Quinta, CA and taking every opportunity to drive down to The Palm Springs Street Fair that was held every Thursday evening. Musicians, artists, craftsman and Street food were in abundance! But what caught Don's eye every time was the popularity of a new snack food item...Kettle Corn! A sweet and salty popcorn made on site with a large kettle and a shiny copper kettle to mix it in. The Kettle Corn stand always had a line with lots of smiling faces!

  With a little money and lots of enthusiasm Don bought himself a kettle corn popper. He started booking events back east where he was from.  Pennsylvanians welcomed Don's new sweet idea & The PopcornMan Kettle Korn Company was born.  Since that time PopcornMan has added additional brands to its menu:
